VAMS Only Sells Women Owned Beauty- Putting Their Money Where Their Mouth Is

It’s 2024 and we know what we are inching towards equality.

There’s one Celebrating the fierce, the fearless, and the fabulous, VAMS put their money where their mouth is, selling only women founded brands- but not just because they’re women owned and founded, VAMS is proudly giving a voice to the best of the best.

“In a world where self-love is often mistaken for vanity, we're rewriting the narrative.
At VAMS, we unapologetically embrace our love for skincare and the love we hold for ourselves.”

VAMS proudly stocks Aboriginal-owned and Black-owned female-led beauty brands.

You can see the consistency in their mission reflected on their Instagram page, @vamsbeauty and on their website vamsbeauty.com

“Our mission is to embolden women to chase their dreams, shatter barriers, and create heart-driven beauty and wellness brands infused with passion and purpose.”

Meet Ellie, Founder of VAMS

“Hi! I’m Ellie. An enduring beauty lover, a friend to all women, and the founder of VAMS.
Most of all, I’m passionate about supporting local American businesses run by women like me.

For too long, women have received mixed messages about self-love; one day told to shed their insecurities and embrace who they are, and the next labelled as “vain” if they dare to do so.

We've rejected that belief. VAMS is built on the idea that we should all be Vain About Our (My) Skin. So welcome.”

They’re not just changing the way you see skincare; They’re changing the way you see yourself—because VAMS firm belief is: your beauty is more than just skin deep.

If you're passionate about championing female-led businesses, adore skincare, and thrive in a supportive community of go-getters, then you’ve found your people with VAMS.

Ellie’s Current Favourites

“Ohhh, this is a tough one, as a proud small biz owner I’m gonna say they’re all my favourite, but in the last 2 months these are the golden”

Colombo Night Repair Crème

Phos Studio has joined Vams Beauty recently and I’m a little obsessed with Colombo Night Repair Crème, the texture is so lush and hydrating even though it is a retinol cream, no dryness or sensitivity in sight.

This night cream smells so lux and it’s our best-seller! Winter is coming so now is the perfect time to introduce retinol to your nightly routine.

Sweet Orange Balancing Cleanser

Another top fave is the Sweet Orange Balancing Cleanser from Lamav, it gets rid of the grime, the scent is fresh, and the skin feels bouncy and soft.

It lightly foams and I don’t know about you but I love a bit of foam, it really makes cleansing more fun!

AHA Body Reset Scrub

I suffer from keratosis pillaris, I never skip a full body scrub and one of my favourite products for rough, bumpy, inflamed skin is Aha Body Reset Scrub from Kenzako.

This gem keeps the bumps at bay, the back of my arms have never been smoother, no wonder this exfoliant went viral on TikTok, it’s gentle and it works!

The formula is gentle enough to be used on face, armpits and everywhere else.

Hana, Kenzako’s founder recently shared my favourite hack with this scrub is to use it as a shaving cream and yup, it works!
